SLA surface, documented primary stability
Hybrid fixtures are press-fit implants specified for reduced-invasiveness osteotomies where sinus elevation or nerve repositioning may otherwise be considered. The documented SLA surface, 1.5° locking taper connection, and rounded apex are used as described in the IFU.
HYBRID FIXTURE SLA SURFACE
The SLA surface is not an added coating. Macro-roughness is produced by grit-blasting the titanium body; acid-etch then forms 2–4 µm micro-pits. That roughness is specified along the fixture body to support bone–implant contact (BIC).
PRIMARY STABILITY AND LOAD DISTRIBUTION
Geometry is specified for primary stability and to distribute occlusal load around the surrounding bone. Osteotomy and insertion follow the Hybrid surgical protocol and IFU.
Fixture positioning — key point: the IFU specifies placing the fixture at least 3 mm apical to the soft-tissue margin.
360° abutment positioning: Hybrid abutments seat on the locking taper and can be rotated 360° during the prosthetic stage. Select the abutment listed for the well size in the IFU.
1.5° taper connection: The 1.5° locking taper is the documented fixture–abutment connection. Seating, torque, and handling follow the IFU; do not treat the interface as independently validated beyond that document.
Sloping shoulder: The sloping crestal shoulder is the specified Hybrid fixture collar. Placement and peri-implant bone handling follow the IFU.
Rounded apex: The rounded apex is specified for sites with limited anatomy, including proximity to the maxillary sinus. Insertion must follow the IFU.
