Chairside intraoral scan
NTA S-PRO G2 is an intraoral scanner for color scans of hard and soft tissue. The live view updates as the wand moves. A full-arch intraoral scan is specified at under 5 minutes, shorter than a conventional impression sequence.
Access and scan time: The wand is used in a range of mouth-opening angles. Specified full-arch scan time is under 5 minutes.
Digital capture chain: Color intraoral data can be reviewed on screen during the appointment and shared with the laboratory.
Clinical use: Files are used for restorative, implant, and orthodontic CAD/CAM workflows.
Support: Device use, file export, and service follow the IFU and the distributor channel.
Conventional impression
Tray and material setup takes longer.
Impression material can trigger gagging.
Laboratory turnaround for the prosthesis is longer.
The physical model is a single fixed record and is harder to share between clinic and lab.
Intraoral scan (NTA S-PRO)
Scan setup is shorter and does not use impression trays.
No impression material is placed in the mouth.
CAD/CAM file transfer can shorten the time to the prosthesis compared with a physical model.
Color intraoral data is shown on the 3D screen during the visit and can be shared with the laboratory.
AI cleanup: The software can remove non-dental surfaces such as hand, tongue, lip, and mucosa from the scan.
Open file export: .STL, .PLY, and .OBJ export for use in Exocad, 3Shape, and Dental Wings.
Analysis tools: Die analysis is used for restoration fit. Occlusion analysis measures contact points in millimetres. The reliability map marks incomplete areas in orange for rescan.
Orthodontic simulator: Treatment steps can be shown on screen for case discussion.
